Cars get all sorts of adapters to make sure that your devices stay well charged. Unfortunately, bicycles don't exactly come with those same benefits. That's bad news for those that are using a bike to get to work everyday. Thankfully one crafty person has created a way to charge up your USB devices while you're pedaling down the road. They've done it by taking your typical USB car adapter and connecting that to a voltage regulator. The regulator is then in turn connected to a stepper motor mounted onto the rear wheel. Not only does that mean you can charge your gadgets on your way to work, but you can also do it in an eco-friendly manner. It offers a steady 5-volts of electricity to the adapter at a 70% rate of efficiency. To learn just how to pull off this charger you can read through the details on Instructables.
